F.I.R.E
(Fervent Intercessors for Rapid Evangelism)
What is F.I.R.E.?
A group of young people coming together to intercede on behalf of our leaders, pastors, country, and all that surrounds us, etc. F.I.R.E. usually meets three times out of the year on a Friday at around 11P.M., but this can vary on the necessity of the section.
Fervent: having or showing great warmth or intensity of spirit feeling enthusiasm; hot; glowing burning. Our relationship is to be intense and ongoing. We are called to be fervent in our communion with God. Our calling as saints is not mediocre calling, therefore; our seeking of God should not be a mediocre seeking.
Intercession: The act or an instance of interceding. Interposing or pleading on behalf of a person in difficulty or trouble. Intercessors: People who intercede
Rapid: occurring within a short time, happening speedily. We pray for rapid action in the kingdom of God.
Evangelism: The preaching or promulgation of the gospel; the work of an evangelist. Evangelism is a calling from God to go forth and spread the gospel of Christ to the lost in this world (Mt. 28:28-20)
“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out”
